Examples of company’s the teams are working for are Friesland Campina, CarNext and VodafoneZiggo.

Currently the team is working on a project with Data Mesh, a hot-topic in Data Science land. You might have heard about it before, but if not: it’s the new and updated version of a Data Lake. A data platform architecture that embraces the ubiquity of data in the company by using a domain-oriented and self-serving design. They are working on one of the largest implemention of an event-driven, serverless Data Mesh on AWS in Europe.

Role as Data Engineer

This company is looking for pragmatic Data Engineers to join the team. If you are enthousiastic and want to be part of this big implemention, you will be one of the players in this team. They are looking for someone with experience with AWS services (Lambda, Glue, Lake formation), Spark (Scala/Python) and Kafka.

This company is also looking for DataOps Engineers and Data Scientists, please let me know if you want more information regarding those positions.

You offer:

• A person-organisation fit: you agree and fit in with the core values

• Technical skills: Python and/or Java, Scala is a plus
• 1+ year of hands-on experience with AWS services: lambda, EMR, Redshift, ElasticSearch, lake formation and Glue
