The team is a front-office team at Robeco, responsible for an in-house Research and Data Platform. This is seen as the instrumental for key investment processes and for research of investment ideas by quants, data scienists and portfolio managers. Within this team you incorporate the latest technologies, ingest new data and are accountable for a successful execution of daily operations.

Job description

As a Data Engineer, you will contribute with extending the platform in multiple dimensions;

• Creation of proprietary technology, this to optimize efficiency of the platform;
• Incorporate technologies (Spark, Snowflake, Azure);
• Onboard data in a variety of formats.

You will work together with Quant Research on evaluation and integration of data sets (alternative) used to develop investment strategies.

Requirements

• Programming skills (Python, PySpark, C#)
• MSc/PhD in a quantitative study (Engineering, Computer Science, Econometrics, Mathematics)
• Knowledge of modern technologies (Databricks, Snowflake)
• Interest in Asset Management;
• 0-5 years of experience;
• Enthusiasm for innovations in the technical field!
