Role:

As a Lead Data Engineer (Azure) you will take the lead in implementing projects and detailed designs. You will be working together with your own team of data engineers, project managers, data scientists, and sales people to make sure that our clients receive their money’s worth! You will not just be leading the projects; you will still be programming actively within the team as well. This role is a very dynamic one, with a focus on Azure and this organization’s applied AI and Data Hub solutions.

You offer:

• BSc/MSc degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science;
• Experience in a Lead Engineering role (you have already led projects and a technical team);
• You must live in the Netherlands;
• You know how to work on several projects simultaneously in an effective manner;
• Experience with working in an Agile/Scrum way;
• You love to share your knowledge with others to make them better;
• Great coding skills;
• Extraordinary communication and presentation skills;
• You can consult and influence around all key technical decisions when you’re delivering the project;
• Hands-on experience with Python and/or Java;
• You know and understand different ways of processing and storing data;
• Experience at least two Azure cloud technologies and willing to learn even more;
• You are a proven team player/builder with great interpersonal skills;
• Speaking Dutch fluently is considered a plus.
